  • Duties and Responsibilities:
    This position has responsibilities as the County Extension Director and Family and Consumer Sciences Agent. As the County Extension Director (CED), the agent is responsible for the overall leadership for the County Extension program. The  CED interprets and communicates policy; prepares budget requests to secure funds for the program; evaluates programs; and, serves as a liaison with the County and State. In the role of Family and Consumer Sciences, the agent responsibilities are to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate programs in Food Safety, Nutrition and Health, Parenting, and Family and Community Education (FCE) Volunteer Development and Maintenance. The Bay County Extension Director/Family and Consumer Sciences Agent is responsible for the overall leadership for the county program.
